Healthy Shamrock Shake
Did you love the “Shamrock Shake” as a kid? I sure did. But now that I’m a parent and know what’s in it, I make my own healthy version of this recipe at home.
Our Recipe
1 large banana
handful of kale half an avocado 3 Tbsp. honey, pure maple syrup, or agave 4 to 6 drops peppermint essential oil (or peppermint extract. I use DoTerra peppermint oil) 2 cups milk (rice or almond ), or water Blend on high for 30 seconds & Serve. Makes 1 large serving. (Add more or less sweetener or peppermint flavor to suit your taste. You can also use frozen bananas or blend in a handful of ice to make it colder.) |
McDonald's
The McDonald’s version contains 54 ingredients, 115 grams of sugar,
artificial dyes, and artificial flavorings linked to gastrointestinal problems,
