Trail Mix Cookies

Ingredients
1/2 cup 100% pure maple syrup
1/2 cup grapeseed oil
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 heaping tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 egg
 -----------
1 & 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
 -----------
1 cup raisins or dried cranberries
1/3 cup chopped walnuts  or pecans
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup chocolate or carob chips

Directions

1.   Heat oven to 370 degrees
2.  Combine first eight ingredients in large bowl and mix thoroughly
3.  Stir in oats and flour
4.  Add any other desired ingredients (raisins, dried cranberries, nuts and seeds of  choice)
5.  Drop spoonfuls of batter onto cookie sheet and bake for 10 min. & 30 sec.  (or until golden brown)
