Money Saving Tip for Produce! Do you know how to store asparagus? I love it but it can go bad quickly if left in a bag in the fridge. Just wash it off and place upright in a glass container - a mason jar works great. Fill the jar with an inch or so of water. As an experiment, I left some asparagus spears in a plastic bag. They began to spoil after a couple days while other spears that I had placed in jars in the refrigerator are still good 2 weeks later! |
